ABICAM was developed by Dr. Jacob Kvasnicka as part of his PhD dissertation at the University of Toronto. The endeavor was supervised by Prof. Miriam L. Diamond (University of Toronto) and Dr. Elaine Cohen Hubal (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency). Key contributions came from Dr. John Ladan (University of Toronto), who provided expertise in computational mathematics and algorithm design, and Dr. Xianming Zhang (University of Toronto), who developed the Indoor Chemical Exposure Classification/Ranking Model (ICECRM) that ABICAM was adapted from.
